An honest professor

Something surprising happened in class today: a professor was honest about the subject he was teaching. At one point in the lecture, our civ pro professor asked, "How many of you are glazed over at this point?" After about 1/4 of the class raised our hands, he replied, "Can't say as I blame you." The professor has just earned tremendous respect in my eyes for his candor with us. Props to the prof.

On the other hand, I've had people telling me I should also post my list of hot people. I think I'm still thinking about it.

PLEASE don't post your list. I know it is meant to be fun and entertaining, but i can't believe some of the things people write in response to these lists. Honestly, I have never seen a larger showing of personal insecurities on display as I have in those responses to Edward's list. Fine if certain anonymous responders don't think someone is attractive, but why is there a need for people to collaborate hurtful opinions? It's absurd.

I agree with the previous post. PLEASE don't put up your list. As much I enjoyed reading the initial list out of curiosity, the mean-spirited responses were just vile. We don't have to all like each other nor find each other equally attractive, but perhaps this is a time when discretion is the better part of valor.
